In the winter of 2007, Matt joined the Black Gold family. Matt was born in Lubbock, Texas where he performed with Ars Nova Winterguard. After moving to the Fort Worth, Texas, he marched with Nolan Winterguard. He then traveled to Tokyo Disneyland where he performed for thousands. A few of his summers were spent with MA Dance and Auxiliary Camps and this summer he will be on staff traveling with the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps. Some of his schools that he has taught that include: Lubbock Cooper HS, Mesquite HS, and Union HS. He currently loves teaching at Lewisville HS and Legacy HS. Matt loves playing Guitar Hero, cooking, dancing, and sunglasses. “It’s an amazing feeling making a life out of your love.”
